OVERVIEW AND GENERAL USE OF THIS WEBSITE
This website is operated by Harmless Food Co Ltd. All services provided on this website, including information, is available to you, the customer/user, under the following terms and conditions.
You can choose anyone, or a combination of our services offered to meet your needs.
If you choose to use our services you will need to make an account with us which will save your details every time you wish to order.
We are not a subscription-based website, so cancelling or suspending any orders is not permitted.
We will try our best to get all our ingredients to prepare meals each week, however if we are not able to source the ingredients from our supplier, or they are out of season, we will substitute them with something else for your convenience.
By using our website, you are agreeing to all the following terms and conditions outlined.
OUR ORDERING & SHIPPING GUIDELINE
If you placed your order before midnight Sunday, your order will be dispatched and delivered on Tuesday (depending on area).
Orders that are placed throughout the week before Wednesday will be sent on Thursday afternoon.
Delivery days may change due to unexpected circumstances.
If you are outside of Canterbury (rest of New Zealand), your order will be put on an overnight service from the dispatch date with New Zealand Couriers.
You cannot choose to suspend an order or cancel indefinitely.
There is a minimum order of $50.00 to be spent before an order is processed.
Deliveries are made on weekdays (Tuesday onwards) between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Public holidays will affect these delivery times and days.
If something out of the ordinary arises due to our courier service, we will notify you on your product's arrival date.

CUSTOMER LIABILITY AND GENERAL CONDITIONS
All orders made under your login are assumed to be made by you (the customer) and you are held liable.
You agree not to copy, sell, resell, reproduce, duplicate or exploit any of the services offered on this website.
PAYMENTS
OUR PRICES
Our prices for every meal are available on our website.
Prices are exclusive of GST.
All deliveries are charged depending on which area you are in. If the delivery address is rural, the customer will be charged an additional cost depending on where they are located.
All prices are in New Zealand Dollars.
Harmless Food Co Ltd reserves the right to change prices of all its meals during the term of this agreement. You will be notified of any price change via the website.
PAYMENT AND INVOICES
All invoices will be provided via email on a weekly basis.
Payment is debited when you order.
Payment methods for online orders include: internet banking, credit card, debit card, and PayPal. For all other forms of payment please contact Harmless Food Co Ltd prior to placing an order through our website.
If credit card payments are declined we will automatically decline your order. Contact will be made immediately via email and we will request an alternate payment to fulfil your order.
PRODUCT AVAILABILITY
We will make every effort to fulfill orders placed through this website, although we are not liable to any person if we are unable to, or decline to supply a meal plan or product for any reason.
We may delay dispatch or delivery of an item due to availability. We will always try our best to notify you of any delay.
DELIVERY
OUR DELIVERY ZONES FOR DINNER MEALS
We deliver New Zealand-wide. Please see our map to view our zone and confirm if you are within our delivery area. If you have any uncertainty about whether your house is within our delivery zone, please contact us prior to placing an order through our website.
LIABILITY
Deliveries will, subject to these terms and conditions, be made to the customer-supplied delivery address on the delivery date (Monday).
We are entitled to commission third-party distributors to make our deliveries.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we may be required to deliver outside of our advertised delivery times. If this occurs, you will be notified of any delays as soon as possible.
Once your order has been delivered to your house, Harmless Food Co Ltd is not responsible if the order is stolen or if it spoils due to being left out for more than 8 hours.
If your order is damaged or delayed due to the couriers, we are not liable to refund you directly. Instead, we will offer a store credit or a replacement order.
CHANGE OF DELIVERY ADDRESS
Your address, along with other personal details, can be changed in Your Account section. If you need to change your delivery address after a payment has been processed, you can notify us up to 24 hours prior to delivery the following Monday.
OWNERSHIP AND RISKS
Ownership, responsibility, and risk in the products shall pass to the customer on delivery to the delivery address.
WARRANTIES
All representations, terms, warranties, guarantees, or conditions whether implied by statute, common law or custom of the trade or otherwise, including, but not limited to, implied warranties, guarantees or conditions, are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law. You acknowledge that you do not rely on any representation or statement made by or on behalf of Harmless Food Co Ltd other than the express provisions of these terms and conditions. You must ensure that the products are not used for any purpose for which they are not suitable, and you are responsible for using all necessary skill and care in handling and using the products. You expressly acknowledge and agree that Harmless Food Co Ltd does not assume any obligation or liability for any advice given, and that all such products are accepted by you entirely at your risk.
REFUNDS / STORE CREDITS
Harmless Food Co Ltd Refund Policy
When placing an order, please make sure it's correct before you checkout. Please contact us immediately if a mistake has been made. We do not give refunds if you simply change your mind or make a wrong decision.
You will only be given a refund or exchange if your meal order is wrong and/or different from what you purchased online, or if Harmless Food Co Ltd is at fault for damages caused during the delivery of the food.
We are not responsible for damages made to your order during the delivery stage. Delivery time may vary due to courier schedules. If you have any issues, please contact us immediately at hello@harmlessfoodco.co.nz.
If damages occur to your order, you must contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order. Once notified, we will investigate what happened and who is liable. If the courier company is found liable, we will seek compensation directly from them and you will be eligible for a store credit or a replacement order.
Harmless Food Co Ltd reserves the right to refuse a refund for any damaged product.
Harmless Food Co Ltd reserves the right to refuse a refund if the condition is outside of the company’s control and/or caused by another company.
If your order is delivered to a rural address and it perishes due to travel conditions or delays, Harmless Food Co Ltd reserves the right to reject any refunds, store credits, or order exchanges for perished or damaged products.
If your order is delivered to a non-rural address and it perishes due to travel conditions or delays, Harmless Food Co Ltd reserves the right to reject any refunds, but may offer a store credit or replacement order.
LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY
ALLERGIES
Except where we specifically and expressly advise you otherwise (e.g., gluten free), the boxes are not designed to cater for allergies or specific or cultural dietary requirements. Some of our meals can be made gluten free while others cannot. To the best of our knowledge, everything we supply in the boxes is gluten free, but we do not have the same guarantee from our suppliers. We cannot guarantee that some products from our suppliers have not been processed in a facility containing gluten. You are responsible for checking that the ingredients in the boxes are suitable for your dietary needs.
INDEMNITY
Notwithstanding any other term, you agree to indemnify Harmless Food Co Ltd against all liabilities, losses, claims and expenses suffered or incurred by you, and all claims and demands made against Harmless Food Co Ltd, arising directly or indirectly out of your use of the website, in breach of these terms and conditions and/or the failure to deliver any products.

Frequently asked question
We dispatch orders on Mondays (arriving Tuesday) and Thursdays (arriving Friday) on an overnight tracked courier. We currently use New Zealand Post.

The Christchurch Flat Rate: $9.99, with FREE Shipping on orders over $100.
The South Island Flat Rate: $15.00, with FREE Shipping on orders over $150.
The North Island Flat Rate: $25.00, with FREE Shipping on orders over $200.
