Korean Fried Harmless Chicken (Air Fryer)

For the Chicken

• 250g Harmless vegan chicken

• ½ cup cornstarch

• ½ cup all-purpose flour

• ½ tsp baking powder

• ¼ tsp salt

• ¼ tsp black pepper

• ½ cup cold soy milk or oat milk

• Spray oil or cooking oil
For the Korean Sticky Glaze

• 2 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)

• 1 tbsp soy sauce

• 1 tbsp rice vinegar

• 1 tbsp tomato paste (optional, for depth)

• 1 clove garlic, minced

• 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated

• 1 tsp sesame oil

• 1 tsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp water (for slurry)
🍽️ Instructions
1. Prepare the Batter
In a medium bowl, mix the cornstarch, flour, baking powder, salt, pepper, and soy milk until smooth and thick.
2. Coat the Chicken
Dip each piece of Harmless chicken into the batter. Make sure it's fully coated.
3. Air Fry Until Crispy
Preheat your air fryer to 200°C (392°F). Spray the basket with oil. Place the coated chicken in a single layer. Cook for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crisp.
